About the company

UNICEF is a humanitarian agency of the United Nations, which works to provide humanitarian and developmental aid to children worldwide. Present in 192 countries, UNICEF works to advocate for universal children’s rights and protect the most vulnerable in times of humanitarian crises. Within the Netherlands, several student volunteer groups are operating. UNICEF Student Team Tilburg has 52 volunteers, who work for small change-makings through different committees. The Advocacy Committee raises awareness to children’s rights, through operating an editorial to highlight some violations of these rights and organising educational events to bring attention to our cause. The Planning & Events Committee oversees the logistics of the events and brings ideas of social-cultural importance to life, such as charity concerts. The Marketing &PR Committee draws people closer to the cause of protecting children’s rights through providing the visual input to shape the team’s and the cause’s visibility.
