CV & LinkedIn Checks

On April 5, the Economic Business weeks Tilburg provides CV and LinkedIn Checks. Moreover, a professional photographer will be present.

CV Check
Since your Curriculum Vitae is one of the most important documents when applying for an internship, traineeship or starters function, it is of the utmost importance to make sure the content is relevant and complete. During this day a professional will look at your CV and give you tips and tricks on how to improve it. The day is split in a morning and an afternoon session, from 10:00 till 12:15 hrs and 13:15 till 16:30 hrs. When subscribing for this activity, you will be assigned for a CV Check of 15 minutes between these time slots.

To get an even better advice, you have the possibility to choose a company specialized in your field of study. They can also provide you with additional tips on which traineeships or internships might be interesting for you. To ensure that you benefit the most out of your CV check, make sure that you come to the session well prepared and with some questions on how to improve your CV.

IMPORTANT: you should take two hard copies of your CV with you

LinkedIn Check
Increasingly, recruiters use LinkedIn to find new applicants, so a professional LinkedIn profile is essential. During the LinkedIn Checks, experts will check your profile and provide you with useful tips on how to optimize your profile and how you can stand out from the competition. When you register for the LinkedIn checks you will get a 20 minute session with the professional during the morning sessions (8:40-12:15 hrs) or the afternoon sessions (13:15-16:35 hrs) with one of the participating companies.

To obtain a good advice, make sure you come prepared with questions on how to improve your LinkedIn profile.

For the finishing touch of your profile, a representative profile picture is needed. Therefore, a photographer will be present during the day. All participants from the CV and/or LinkedIn Checks have the possibility to take a photograph between 9:30-12:15 hrs and 13:15-16:30 hrs. This is not mandatory and free of charge.
